A long, dark shadow shifts over me.

“I’ve wanted to do this for a real long time,” he says, hovering close. “So long…” His eyes dip to where he’d ripped my shirt and it now gapes open.

Tysin by Brooke O'Brien was so good!  It will take you on such an amazing emotional rollercoaster. I don't always read prequels but I did in this case and if you do anything read the prequel Sins of a Rebel. It makes it so much easier to understand the dynamic between Tysin and Kyla. On top of that it emotionally broke me so of course you should get emotionally wrecked too 😁 Tysin and Kyla have such a history to over come. He hurt her beyond words and continues to hurt her when she joins the tour. I'm not going to lie at the beginning I was so mad at Tysin for the way he treated Kyla.
