SOOOOO GOOD!!

Image
I can not get over how well written Corrupted Chaos by Shain Rose is. I finished it in less than 24 hours it held my attention so well. Izzy and Cade have a complicated relationship. Izzy assumes Cade hates her based off their first meeting when she went undercover. The banter and bickering between the two is great and flows with how their relationship is. They both feel they are better off doing life alone and don't need anyone else for anything. Cade begins to Crack Izzy's shell and the turmoil and realness comes pouring through.  I absolutely loved this book. It held my attention, made me laugh, made me cry, and had me on the edge of my seat. The spice is off the scale. I thought Dante was spicy and possessive, he has nothing on Cade! 5 out of 5 ⭐️ and oh nelly πŸ₯΅πŸ₯΅ off the spice scale.

Scared the crap out of me and I liked it

Wow. Just wow. Unhinged Cain by Brooklyn Cross blew my mind.  If you ever wanted into the mind of a serial unaliver this book is for you. This book reminds me of turning off the basement lights and running as fast as you can trying to out run the unaliver except instead of being safe in the light the ki11<r catches you...and you like it. Kirby feels stuck in her life. Her boyfriend is an a-hole, her mother is controlling her whole life, and her father barely contacts her. She wants to make a change in her life but doesn't know what that is or how.  Cain is the pure definition of serial unaliver. He stalks his prey and makes ki11in& an art form, literally he carves art on his victims. Cain sees Kirby's eyes one night and knows he has to have her for his collection. As he stalks her though it becomes something different than his usual ki11$. I was honestly shocked at the amount of times I laughed during the book. The humor was so good.  The connection bet...

Loved it

I absolutely loved These Defiant Souls by L.A. Cotton.  It fits perfectly in the grumpy/sunshine trope in my mind. Zane is just so angry at the world and other than his friends pushes people away. Celeste sees the best in everyone, she wants to help everyone. Celeste essentially has no friends outside of her sister and her sister's friends. She leads a really lonely life where she is dissed by her peers and her mom makes all decisions regarding her future.  Zane is trying his best to help his grams with her MS. He also has to balance school, football, and work. Celeste starts to get under his skin and he can't help but want to be in her orbit.  I was thrown through so many emotions through out the book. At times I wanted to cry feeling Celeste's loneliness. Other times I wanted to scream at Zane for being so cruel. It really takes you on an emotional rollercoaster ride.  For me it's a ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ and 🌢🌢🌢

Mind blowing

Sicko by Amo Jones was...I have no words. Amazing, mind blowing, surprising, and so much more. Please check your triggers with it though! It's so hard not to give spoilers so the best synopsis i can give: Jade and Royce are foster brother and sister, but have an attraction to each other as teenagers. Royse suddenly leaves one day destroying Jade. Four years later Royce returns but both Jade and Royce are completely different people. Jade has been going through something no person should have to go through and Royce is now the VP of a motorcycle club. There are so, so, so many twists and turns. I loved the build up of the relationship between Jade and Royce. They know it's taboo but still can't avoid that attraction. The way it's written so well doesn't make you cringe at that, at least for me. It's not completely a main focus but they do obviously bring it up.  The twists and turns were mind blowing 🀯  I had to know the answers to all of the questio...

Didn't want it to end

Image
Cherished by the Agent by Kennedy L. Mitchell was so good. It kept me on my toes and gave all the good twists and turns. Grayson is being protected by the US Marshalls on Anne's ranch. They have an instant attraction to each other but the relationship really starts to grow when Gray starts helping on the ranch. That's the overall romantic plot of the book. Side characters come in and give us all the twists and turns. I loved the relationship between Anne and Grayson. They have insta-lust for each other but unlike many books that's not the main characteristic of their relationship. They develop emotionally and mentally rather than just a physical relationship.  I felt like the spice was a perfect balance with the plot which for me is a 5 🌢 The book had me smiling and really pulled me into the story. I didn't want to finish because I knew I couldn't go back once I was done 5 ⭐️ most definitely!

All the emotions!!

Image
God of Pain by Rina Kent gave me so many emotions. Annika seems so innocent and pure...until she isn't. I absolutely love Annika and Creighton! They are perfect polar opposites. They balance each other so well. I was especially happy that Annika finally was able to stand up for herself rather than being a constant people pleaser. I honestly felt so many emotions during this book. I was completely unprepared for tears, I was not prepared for the waterworks. I cried like a baby at certain parts. The writing was so good I truly felt what they were feeling. 10/5 ⭐️ I can't recommend this book enough! The spice was fantastic too! 🌢🌢🌢🌢🌢

Can't wait for more

I absolutely loved Play Fake by Maggie Rawdon I literally finished in a day, I could not put it down. Mckenzie wants to make her ex jealous so Waylon volunteers to be her fake boyfriend and those fake feelings develop into something more. Interspersed with humor and spice in between. The banter between Makenzie and Waylon was great. They have such great chemistry. Both of them have such a hard time communicating at times I was yelling at my kindle to tell each other the truth. Their whole relationship was ups and downs, a whirlwind of emotions but in the best way. You really get to know the side characters as well and they set up for future books, all of which I will be first in line to read. The book was heartfelt, funny, and steamy. Five ⭐️ all around! It might be a slow burn but the build up was scorching πŸ”₯ 🌢🌢🌢🌢🌢

Sooo Good

Delay of Game by Jade Dollston was phenomenal. It had everything you could hope for: steam, laughs, tears, and everything in between.  Blaire and Axel are college sweethearts but when Blaire gets pregnant Axel doesn't take the news well at all. Blaire leaves before Axel can make amends and they don't reconnect until five years later when he finds out he has a daughter. Axel is determined to win back Blaire and be with his daughter. I'm not going to lie when I first started the book I was really concerned I wasn't going to be able to get past certain hurdles the couple has in the very beginning of the book. I rarely DNF so I kept going and not everything is as it seems. Vague I know but you'll see what I mean when you read it. Once I got further in I couldn't put it down. It grabs your attention so well.  The humor is superb and had me laughing through out the entire book. Then there's the emotional rollercoaster that the couple go through. There ...

So in love!

Butt-Dialing the Billionaire by Annika Martin is not only funny but heartwarming too. I love this book so much! Jada and Jack are such complete opposites its hard to see them together in the beginning. Jada gives a scathing impression of the new company owner after an accidental butt-dial to said owner. Jack, the new owner, decides to search out the butt-dialer and goes to work at SportyGoCo as a delivery driver. Jack is such a great character that you don't see the entirety of who he truly is in the beginning. As time goes on he learns a lot about life and family from Jada.  I am so in love with this book, it will be on my re-reads list for sure. Obviously it's a 10/5 ⭐️, must read, run and grab it now for me. The spice was very nice! Stuck in a supply room closet with Jack? Yes please. Spice I would put at 5/5 🌢 the perfect balance between plot and spice.

Always a Bridesmaid, Never a Plus-One

Image
Always a Bridesmaid, Never a Plus-One by Iris Morland was a super cute book.  It had tons of steam and humor. I finished it in about a day so you know it's that good. Anna and Rowen are a complicated couple. They have the barrier that he is Anna's best friend's ex. She makes a promise not to go after him but they become drawn to each other and it seems Anna can't help the pull. They struggle to be more than a fling or together. Sometimes the statements made by both gave a bit of whiplash, do they want to be together or not? I absolutely loved when Anna finally puts her foot down and puts herself first. The steam was off the charts! It was so hot πŸ”₯ πŸ₯΅ definitely a 🌢🌢🌢🌢🌢 and ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ for the book overall.

Loved Both!!

Image
The Wedding Agreement and The Atelier Assignment were both amazingly good! I could not stop smiling this whole book. I absolutely loved Imogen and Noah. You can tell right off the bat they are going to be perfect for each other! Noah is in need of a bride to fulfill a dream of his grandfa's, to see him happy and married. Imogen wants to help a friend and get family and friends to stop bothering her about being single. Little do they plan for the chemistry and fireworks between the themselves. I found myself laughing so hard at so many different parts. Then frustrated as only one can be when the couple can't communicate properly. They overcome so much that they both think are obstacles to them being together. 5/5 ⭐️, so damn good! The spice was utter fire πŸ”₯ too!! A must read for sure! Zeke and Catrin, Mr. Grumpy and Ms. Sass. The best way I know to describe them. They argue about almost everything and then make up spectacularly. They are perfect for each...
