Opps I did it again

I have been reading so much that I have lacked time to write. That changes today. I have more free time now that I am not working so I have no excuses.

I'm going to try to catch up on other books I've read since my last post but we'll start with my most recent read:

Dark Knight by Tracy Lorraine
Ahhh once again I should have waited for the rest of the series to be complete ( Dark Princess comes out July 28th and Dark Legacy in August). Will I wait till August to finish the last 2? 💯 no. Can't do it. I need so many questions answered!


So without spoiling anything (for now), Dark Knight is the continuation of Dark Halloween. It gives you context on how the relationship between Calli and Batman started. The beginning of Dark Knight is the same as what was in the Bully God anthology, if you've read that it's like a refresh. 

Dark Knight basically sets the scene to continue the war with the Italians (have to have read the previous Knights Ridge books) as well as dive into the beginnings of Calli and batman's relationship (if you want to know who he is see below). Calli is this angel, mafia princess that wants to break out of that shell but doesn't know how or really what she wants to do. Batman has all sorts of issues. Self confidence is a huge one for him and he basically compensates with sex. So instead of opening up to Calli he puts up those cold walls.

If you don't want to know the identity of Batman do not continue and just know that this is a must read. Super spicy and a great cliffhanger that leaves you with tons of questions, if you like that sort of thing 😆.








I LOVE the relationship between Calli and Daemon. Now here me out here cause I'm sure that some are going but what kind of relationship do they really have? For me it's the stuttering that he is letting her see him vulnerable. We also don't fully know what happened when they were six so clearly once again he has let her in. Now here's where I also hate their relationship (it's a love/hate thing going on in my head), he has no problem opening up with Isla but can only be slightly vulnerable with Calli the one he is boning. That threw me, but we will see what comes of that.

Overall I gave it ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️, the steam is 🔥 and I love the story line and build up!

The Wedding Agreement and The Atelier Assignment were both amazingly good! I could not stop smiling this whole book. I absolutely loved Imogen and Noah. Tysin by Brooke O'Brien was so good!  It will take you on such an amazing emotional rollercoaster. I don't always read prequels but I did in this case and if you do anything read the prequel Sins of a Rebel. It makes it so much easier to understand the dynamic between Tysin and Kyla. On top of that it emotionally broke me so of course you should get emotionally wrecked too 😁 Tysin and Kyla have such a history to over come. He hurt her beyond words and continues to hurt her when she joins the tour. I'm not going to lie at the beginning I was so mad at Tysin for the way he treated Kyla. He makes out like their history means nothing. In a way Kyla believes the same but in the way that she thinks she meant nothing to him.  Kyla also has her relationship with her fiancé Canon that she has to maintain while out on the tour.
