I Need More!!

I should have waited to read this until Mason and Preston's books were out. All I could think was "what is going on with Harper" throughout the entire book (we'll get there). While that was annoying it didn't take away from Silas and Star's story. I was surprised to find there were elements I felt weird (best word I can find, not upset but not happy?) about in this book, I honestly thought Logan's book would bother me more. I'll list my "weird" elements below so there are no spoilers here. 





Maybe I'm forgetting parts of the previous book's relationship beginnings but it felt like they had more emotional connection than I felt Star and Silas had. By the very end I could see it better but still wondered what Star really knew about Silas. 

The other guys for sure took what they wanted sexually from their ladies but holy CNC batman. Silas TOOK! Not complaining just forewarning because I was not expecting that from Silas. Logan? Oh yeah, but Silas? I was surprised. 

I think not knowing what to expect from Silas was what caused most of the shock from what happened in this book. Silas repeatedly calling Star a slut (again FYI if not your jam might want to move along) was just me with my mouth hanging open going "but....but....but...Silas is so quiet". Maybe I should have foreseen Silas as the down and dirty type but he just seemed too uptight for that.



Now for the actual spoilers...continue to just ruin the book for yourself like I sometimes do.






Tico is dead!!! I mean he wasn't a huge character, but his death is very much a message for the order and he was really important to Star. What that message is? No idea. Here's the kicker that never gets addressed that is STILL driving me nuts: he kept mentioning Harper. It's like he was trying to warn Star about something that was going to happen to Harper, but in the shuffle of making sure Star is okay is completely forgotten like it never happened... Star is also found with a missing person's poster that seems to be another message. So overall a lot of unexplained messages that I have my fingers crossed get explained very soon in the next two books. 


There is one spoiler I was going to share because it's just about the cutest thing ever but I think you need to read to the end to find out what it is, I know dick move. But honestly CUTEST THING EVER!!


Overall I really liked it. Was it my favorite out of the four so far? No, I would have to go with Logan on that front, but I still enjoyed it. So far the series is giving me serious Devils Night Series by Penelope Douglas vibes, which is one of my favorite series. I am so excited to see what the rest of the series brings and if there will be any novellas or spin-offs.

The Wedding Agreement and The Atelier Assignment were both amazingly good! I could not stop smiling this whole book. I absolutely loved Imogen and Noah. Tysin by Brooke O'Brien was so good!  It will take you on such an amazing emotional rollercoaster. I don't always read prequels but I did in this case and if you do anything read the prequel Sins of a Rebel. It makes it so much easier to understand the dynamic between Tysin and Kyla. On top of that it emotionally broke me so of course you should get emotionally wrecked too 😁 Tysin and Kyla have such a history to over come. He hurt her beyond words and continues to hurt her when she joins the tour. I'm not going to lie at the beginning I was so mad at Tysin for the way he treated Kyla.
